Kinga-Noémi Ács

Kinga-Noémi Ács was born in 1997 in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania. She currently lives and works in Budapest, Hungary. Her artistic practice focuses on female identity, anxiety-inducing social norms, and behavioral patterns, which she explores through the metaphor of play and games. In 2021, she earned her master’s degree in Graphic Arts from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. In 2019, she was awarded the László Csomor Prize. During her university years, she received the New National Excellence Program research scholarship twice, and also spent a year studying at the Rome University of Fine Arts. Since 2017, she has been regularly exhibiting her works in solo and group exhibitions, both in Hungary and internationally, including biennials. Her most recent solo exhibition (in collaboration with Anna Járai) was held at the Tér-Kép Gallery. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Studio of Young Artists’ Association.
