Bence Marafkó (1974) was born in Pécs, he currently lives and works at Budapest. He graduated in design from the University of West Hungary in Sopron in 2000. His artistic activity was greatly influenced by his master János Fajó and for more than a decade he participated in the Summer Academy of Art led by him. Since 1993 he has exhibited frequently in Hungary and abroad, in 2008 he was a scholar at the Pollock Krasner Foundation in New York.
